In the beginning of the following summer, your tents will have to be left unpacked and waiting for finer days of Rabarocking in the future. Due to the ongoing economic depression and the Estonian Republic’s hostile-to-culture policies, there will be no Festival Rabarock 2010. Now that the VAT on concert tickets has been raised four-fold despite the waning purchasing power of the general public, we do not deem it possible to organize a festival on par to those arranged in previous years. The decision was not easy, but we will have to take this break in order to greet you all again in 2011.

The Festival Rabarock (“bog-rock”), held in Järvakandi since 2005, has reached audience numbers as high as 13 000. During the previous five years, Rabarock has been headlined by Sparks (USA), The Fall (UK), Laibach (SLO), Electric Six (USA), Danko Jones (CAN), Ladytron (UK), Anthrax (USA), Helloween (GER), Static-X (USA), Therapy? (UK), The Exploited (UK) and The Misfits (USA).
